Prostate Mapping Ltd. is the fruit of collaboration between some of the world's leading urology surgeons, anaesthetists and specialist uro-radiologists making this unique prostate mapping service available to men from a leading London Hospital.
Mr Mark Emberton FRCS(Urol), FRCS, MD, MBBS, BSc
Mark qualified from the University of London and leads a team of researchers working on minimally invasive methods in the diagnosis and treatment of prostatic disease with a particular emphasis on cancer.
He is widely published in health care assessment and has numerous memberships of national bodies (such as the UK based NICE and NCRI), charities and peer-reviewed journals. He is currently leading on focal therapy in prostate cancer using HIFU and photodynamic therapy and is developing a program evaluating image guided biopsy to increase the diagnostic yield of prostate cancer.
